Ok, I am all about keeping my students motivated to learn new concepts. Sometimes it feels like the only way to keep their attention is to sing and dance and stand on your head…and then that only works once. Haha. I’ve also found that using things that are interesting to them is a very helpful tool to keep them engaged.
But watch out for the pigs! There are 6 green pig cards.
Three lose a turn cards and three extra turn
cards.

Hi Lauren! Just found your blog and it is too cute! Love the angry bird games! My kids are still crazy about them! How do you get the lesson to save in ibooks? I couldn’t figure it out. Thanks!
Lauren L. says
Thanks! Glad you can use it. To open in ibooks I save the file to my dropbox account. I open dropbox on my iPad and open the document. There’s a down arrow at the top right hand corner that when u press says open in. Click that and you can open in ibooks or kindle. If u need more info about dropbox go here: http://www.dropbox.com. How that helps!

I think those are super cute! But, the reason you can’t post Angry Birds clipart on TpT is because it’s illegal to use these images at all….for anything you sell or giveaway for free {they are trademarked images}. I’m just looking out for you! I’d hate for you to get into trouble.

Thank you so much! Can’t wait to try it π

Is there anyway I can turn these into a powerpoint? Love them

I’m not sure. You could always display it on your projector from the pdf. Using adobe, just go to view then full screen mode. π Hope that helps!

I just used this with my students in 7th grade special ed reading. They are the hardest students to engage, but their attention was kept during the last period of the day with this. So awesome! I will definitely use this again.

Awesome idea, but if you are having several groups of students play at the same time, how do you determine who gets the main idea right or wrong to keep the card??

Hi, I am wondering if you would be able to send this to me. I know you took it off the internet. I had it last year and used it. I loved it, and so did my kids. Last week I found it on my computer, but now I can’t. I started my introduction, so I was ready for your powerpoint. I am so frustrated with myself. If you don’t mind helping, that would be great. I love the lessons. It really engages my kiddos. You can email me either way at smiller@wawasee.k12.in.us. Thanks, Shellie Miller
