First off, let me just say that even though this is an “about me” page, my life is not about me. My entire life is and, by His grace, will always be about Christ. Simply put, I’m a Christian, unashamedly and so thankfully. He reached down to an unworthy sinner and picked me up, washed me clean, and made me His child. It’s so humbling. Although this is a blog about speech therapy, He is the reason I do what I do. 🙂
I hope and pray you find some encouragement, inspiration, and of course, practical tips each time you wander over to Busy Bee Speech. No matter where you’re at in your education, parenting, or SLP journey, I’m so overwhelmingly thankful you’re here.

- I married my best friend in the fall of 2018. We’d known each other for about 12 years before we dated, but once we reconnected, we both just knew.
- After a few years of infertility, my husband and I began the journey of adoption! It’s a long and difficult process, but we are looking forward to the sweet reward it’ll bring in the end.
- In my family, I’ve got 2 younger sisters who are always ready to be goofy with me and 2 sweet parents who raised me right. I have the cutest little nephew and niece both under two years old. They always keep us laughing.
- I’m fortunate in that most of my family and extended family all live here in Louisiana. When we all get together, it’s happy and crazy and usually centered around food! We love our crawfish and gumbo and red beans with cornbread.
I am blessed beyond measure with people who are dear to me and a job that I love! #thankful
