How to Use an SLP Planner Digitally!

How to use a digital SLP planner

Are you a little curious on how to use a digital SLP planner?  Maybe you’ve seen them floating around on social media and you like the thought of going the digital SLP planner route. (*This post contains Amazon affiliate links.)

As for me, I love using a little bit of both kinds of planners. There are certain forms of my planner that I like to use digitally and certain parts that I like to have printed out.

If you are on the fence about digital planning, here are a few benefits for you to consider:

  • It saves paper.
  • It saves ink.
  • It’s accessible from anywhere and on multiple devices.
  • You can copy and paste!!

Today, I’m so excited to share with you a little tutorial on how I use my SLP planner digitally.  Maybe it’ll give you some inspiration or pique your curiosity and you’ll give going digital a try!

Check out the video below where I’m showing you 2 different ways to go digital with your planning!

Here’s a quick recap:

  • You can use the digital planner immediately on your desktop or laptop.  All you have to do is open it and start typing.
  • Compiling all the forms you prefer using into one planner helps keep you organized and you don’t have to search as much.
  • You have the option of saving your digital planner as a PDF and opening in a note-taking app!

The note-taking app I love to use is called Drawboard.  It’s perfect for my windows tablet.  This is the stylus or digital pencil that I’m using in the video.

If you’re an Apple user, you might prefer the app Goodnotes (I wish they had this one for windows!) and an Apple pencil.  Other apps that also work include Notability and Kami.

Digital and printable SLP planner

Maybe you’re thinking, “No, Lauren. I’m a paper planner girl and always will be.”  If that’s the case, I got you covered too.  Check out last year’s video on how I created my perfect discbound planner.

You can always grab this planner from my store and use both digital and printed options.  It includes step by step directions and fully editable pages for you to customize it like you want it.

Happy planning! What questions do you have?
