Confession: I buy a new tote bag for work every school year. Maybe it stems from childhood and buying a new backpack for school. I love a good tote, especially for work. The difference between a good and a bad one can make all the difference in the world. And if you have a heck of a long commute and basically live out of your car like I do, it pays to invest in a good one! Check out some of my favorite finds just in time for back to school!!

1. Vera Bradley “Get Carried Away” Tote
Who doesn’t love Vera Bradley? It’s large and has lots of pockets and features. It does run over $100, but some prints (like this camo-cat one) are half-off right now!
2. Thirty-One Cindy Tote
If you love monograms, chic designs, and a more professional look, this one might be for you. Contact your local thirty-one rep for more details. I do love this chevron one! They are priced around $70.
3. Better Life Bags – Nicole Tote
Better Life Bags are a popular brand among teachers. They have a great mission to employ women who have difficulty finding jobs to make these cute bags. If you love a good cause and want to custom design your own tote, you’ll love this one! The Nicole bag runs around $150.
4. Merona Leather Handbag
I love a good Target tote as much as the next girl. This one looks super sleek and is big enough to carry a laptop and maybe a data binder too. The price is great at only $40. The quality may not be quite there though, and you might find yourself having to purchase another sooner than you’d like.
5. White Elm Weekender Tote
How cute is this one? This bag is large with 6 pockets altogether. It doesn’t seem as durable but it is washable with thick straps. The cost is $45.
6. KROSER Backpack Tote
If your looking for sturdy, cute, and a zip top then this one could be for you! This cute back pack from Amazon is only $33. I love that it has padded straps and lots of pockets. (P.S. This is the one I got!)
7. AmazonBasics Rolling Laptop Case
If you have back or shoulder issues, a rolling case might be your best bet. This one on Amazon looks pretty amazing. However, I do like my bags to be a little more cutesie. 😉
8. Fossil Rachel Tote
Oh, how I love Fossil bags. I wish we had a Fossil outlet store where I live. Well, maybe I shouldn’t wish that. I’d spend way too much money there. Look how cute this Rachel Tote bag is! It’s big enough to carry a small laptop, and some of the designs are on sale right now. This one is marked down to $98.
9. MDM Utility Tote Bag
If you need a bag for your therapy materials, I like to use utility totes. This one is large and the price on Amazon at $32.
10. Thirty-One Utility Tote
This Thirty-One utility tote is great for therapy materials as well. You can even monogram it or put a phrase like “SLP supplies” on it. I do have this one and love it. The base cost for the regular size is $35 or opt for the larger one for $50.
I hope you found this helpful. Are there any bags that you love that I missed??

What a great post. For me, I always buy a new dress for the first day of the year. Maybe this stems from back to school shopping for backpacks, like you say, or lunch boxes~
