Planners Galore!

August 14, 2013

It’s August.  Everyone is gearing up for back to school and trying to get organized.  It’s so hard sometimes to find a decent way to keep your paperwork easily accessible.  Usually, I end up with random piles all over my desk.  Well, I think this planner is sure to help out a little!

I know several sellers have cute planners out there right now, and I’ve even bought a few!  Since I was needing a few extra pages, I decided to go ahead and make my own and share it with you!

In my TPT store I’ve got a Speech Therapy Organizing Planner, a Special Education Planner, and Calendars with Editable Pages.

The Speech Planner is super cute and comes with lots of relevant pages.  There are a couple of different cover and page designs that are changed yearly.  All pages come in both black-and-white and color.  See?

This was the planner design from the 2013-14 school year.

And here is the most recent design:

I'm living my new disc bound system for my planner! I can add to it and take it out without uncoiling! PS if you own my planner you should totally go to TpT and download the update! #discboundplanner #obsessed #allthehearteyes

I use the disc binder system to keep my planner together.  That way I can add and take out pages as needed, but still get the notebook effect.  I’m in LOVE with this thing!  Haha.

Slide1

The inside pages include: a blank monthly calendar and schedule sheet, as well as screening logs, RtI lists, referrals lists, and eval lists.  The progress report and medicaid lists are my favorite though!

Slide2

There’s also helpful paperwork sheets: checklists, due dates, monthly, weekly, and daily planning and to-do lists, reminders and full-sheet notes pages.

Slide3

All of these pages come in both black-and-white and colorful designs, so you can mix and match how you want.  The packet also comes with section dividers, so that you can divide your planner into calendar, screening & evals, and planning & paperwork.
If you’d like the current year’s calendars and to be able to edit most of the planner pages, check out this listing: Calendars & Editable Planner Pages
My Special Education Planner is similar in format to my speech planner, except that it’s got a few different pages.  Included inside are:
-Monthly calendar (1 and 2 page spreads)
-Daily schedule
-Dues dates by month
-IEPs at a Glance
-Progress report checklist
-Generic checklist
-Grade tracker
-Data trackers (use for DIBELS, MRC, Reading programs, etc.)
-Monthly plans
-Weekly plans
-Parent contact Information
-Weekly to-do sheet
-Running to-do sheet
-Reminders sheet
-Notes sheet
-Lined sheet
-Colorful versions of all the above sheets
I hope these work as well for you as they do for me!! 🙂

I’d love to have one of these planners because you can keep all of the info you need in one place rather than having to look in several paper or computer files!

This planner would help me so much with the RTI stuff. My county uses SEMS Tracker for IEPs and Paddynet for Medicaid billing so that stuff is already tracked. But, I’ve been struggling to figure out a concise way to track RTI so I don’t have to carry my huge RTI notebook. I use that notebook to hold screening forms, H/V forms, consent, data graphs, etc for each child in RTI. That 4″ binder is very bulky and always seems to be shedding something. Having this planner would mean I don’t have to lug around that monstrosity in order to have the most pertinent info at my fingertips.

I am just getting started with my first school SLP position…didn’t need all these forms in outpatient rehab, so this would help me get off to a great start organization-wise! So cute too!

This is amazing! It would be so wonderful to have a “speech only” planner, and to have everything together within it. What a great idea, and super cute, of course 🙂

I love the Medicaid organizer. I never thought to do something like that to track my sessions before I submit my medical assistance paperwork!

I’d really like to improve my organization this year. I jot things down in different notebooks and nothing is together in one place. I think this would really help me to stay organized.

This planner would be great to help keep me organized and to keep all my important papers in one place. I have over 65 kids on my caseload with 1/3 of them being students in Life Skills. This planner would definitely help make life as an SLP a lot easier!
